Melinda Kramer is the Developer/Proprietor of the Hotel Laurance. She bought the Hotel with the intent of developing the property as mixed use commercial and residential apartments, but quickly realized the need for a “Boutique Hotel” to support the local economy growing towards weekend travel, weddings and business retreats.

The idea of a woman owned business from the 1800’s, Hotel Laurance named after Laura Parkinson, is of particular personal interest as well!
